The French Country Inn is a fly-in or drive-in bed and breakfast (B & B) located at the Crawford Airport (99V) on Colorado's Western Slope. The B&B caters to non-pilots as well as pilots and the flying public. Crawford is a small Western Colorado town that neighbors the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, West Elk Wilderness Area, and the Grand Mesa. The B&B offers comfortable accommodations including five, air conditioned guest rooms, several reading areas, a fireplace, two decks, state of the art kitchen and complimentary wireless broadband. Airplane tie-downs and hangaring are available. A pool/billiards game room is planned for the very near future.

Guest Meals

Gourmet breakfast, and afternoon reception are complimentary with each room. Dinner is available to guests by prior arrangement. The dinner menu will always include entrees which feature beef, fowl, and fish/seafood. At times a "special menu" night will be offered which may include barbeque, prime rib, Mexican and other menus.

Pilot Services

Aviation services available to pilots or fly-in guests include Ratings, Flight Reviews and Mountain Pilot Instruction. One of your hosts, Lynn French, is a Designated Pilot Examiner and experienced mountain pilot.

The Area

The area has a lot to offer including fishing, hunting, hiking, and other outdoor activities limited only by your imagination. Relaxation is as close as the nearest deck. Don't forget to bring a good book. The decks also offer the best views of sunrise, sunsets and numerous deer that populate our area.
